Red Lobster Menu With Prices and Calories (2026)
Red Lobster is the largest seafood restaurant chain in the United States, with around 540 locations in 2026, and its menu is bigger than most people expect: seventeen categories running from a $2.99 side of cocktail sauce to an $89.99 seafood boil that feeds four. This page puts the whole Red Lobster menu with prices in one place, with the calorie count beside every item and a photo of each dish, so you can decide what to order before you sit down.
We are an independent guide. We are not owned by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Red Lobster. That means we write down what things actually cost and what they contain, including the less flattering parts: the 5,590-calorie family platter, the eight-ounce tartar sauce with more calories than the Ultimate Feast, and the “senior discount” that many websites describe but that we could not trace to any official source. Prices vary by location, so treat every figure as a well-researched reference rather than a quote.

The pattern is consistent. The kids’ menu is the only category that stays under $10. Seafood boils and hot platters carry the highest prices and the highest calorie counts because they are built to share. Soups and sides are where value quietly disappears: a cup of lobster bisque costs more than a kids’ entree.
Below, every category has its own section with the full Red Lobster menu with prices and pictures. Prices and calories come straight from our menu database, so this list updates itself whenever a dish changes.
Starters & Appetizers
Red Lobster starters are built for sharing before the main course. The Lobster & Langostino Flatbread is the most substantial, Garlic Butter Mussels give the most seafood for the price, and Crispy Mozzarella Bites are the cheapest. Hand-Breaded Calamari with jalapeño ranch and marinara also appears on the national menu at around $14.99 and 1,000 calories.

Two soups anchor this section: Lobster Bisque and New England Clam Chowder, each sold as a cup or a bowl. A cup of chowder is one of the lightest things on the whole menu, and the bowl roughly doubles both the calories and the price. The Caesar Side Salad is the usual swap for fries.
| Menu Item | Price | Calories |
|---|---|---|
Lobster Bisque (Cup) | $9.99 | 340 |
Lobster Bisque (Bowl) | $11.99 | 630 |
New England Clam Chowder (Cup) | $9.99 | 240 |

This is where the lobster and crab live: a Whole Steamed Maine Lobster, the Grilled Rock Lobster Tail, a Snow Crab Leg Cluster, Crab & Linguini Alfredo and the Ultimate Surf & Turf Feast. Steamed shellfish is the leanest protein on the menu, so the plain preparations here are also among the lowest in calories.
| Menu Item | Price | Calories |
|---|---|---|
Whole Steamed Maine Lobster (1.25 lb) | $34.99 | 440 |
Ultimate Surf & Turf Feast | $39.99 | 910 |

Walt’s Favorite Shrimp, the hand-breaded original, sits in the platters below, and Endless Shrimp runs as a limited-time promotion.

Red Lobster Menu by Budget
Every dish on the menu, grouped by what it costs. Useful if you are working to a number rather than a craving.
Under $15 is mostly starters, sides, kids’ meals and the Early Dine-In entrees. The $15 to $25 band is where most single entrees sit, including the shrimp, pasta and chicken dishes. Lobster, crab and the feasts start around $30, and everything over $40 is either a premium lobster dish or a meal portioned for a group.
How Much Does a Meal at Red Lobster Cost in 2026?
The honest answer is that it depends almost entirely on whether you order a single entree or one of the feasts. A straightforward lunch of garlic butter shrimp scampi runs $19.49. The Ultimate Feast is $54.99. Both are on the same menu, and the gap between them is larger than the entire bill at most fast-casual restaurants.
Below is a realistic estimate of what people actually spend, including a drink and before tax and tip. Cheddar Bay Biscuits come to the table at no extra charge with most entrees, which is worth factoring in when you compare Red Lobster to other sit-down seafood restaurants.
| Type of Visit | Typical Order | Estimated Total |
|---|---|---|
| Solo lunch | Lunch entree + fountain drink | $23 – $27 |
| Solo dinner | Dinner entree + drink | $28 – $40 |
| Dinner for two | Two entrees + starter + two drinks | $65 – $95 |
| Date night, splurge | Lobster Lover’s Duo + Ultimate Feast + drinks | $120 – $135 |
| Family of four | Family platter bundle + drinks | $60 – $100 |
| Family of four, a la carte | Two adult entrees + two kids’ meals + drinks | $75 – $105 |
The family bundles are the one place where the arithmetic clearly favours the guest. The Shrimp Linguini Alfredo Family Pack feeds four for $47.99, which works out to about $12 per person — less than a single a la carte order of the same dish at $20.49. If you are feeding a group, ordering from the family menu rather than four individual entrees is the single biggest saving available on this menu.
Best Value Meals on the Red Lobster Menu
Value at a seafood restaurant is not simply about the lowest price. A $9.99 cup of soup and a $19.49 shrimp scampi entree cost very different amounts, but only one of them is dinner. The picks below are ranked by what you actually get for the money.
Best Value Under $20
| Item | Price | Calories | Why It Works |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hand-Battered Fish & Chips | $17.99 | 1,230 | Cheapest full adult entree on the menu, and a large portion |
| Admiral’s Shrimp Trio | $18.99 | 730 | Three shrimp preparations on one plate for under $19 |
| Crunch-Fried Flounder Sandwich | $18.99 | 1,690 | Comes with a side; the largest calorie-per-dollar ratio on the menu |
| Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi | $19.49 | 650 | Lowest-calorie entree in this price band |
| Cajun Chicken Linguini Alfredo | $19.49 | 1,120 | Appears on both lunch and dinner menus at the same price |
Best Value for a Group
Every family bundle is priced to serve four. Dividing the price by four gives a per-person cost that no a la carte order comes close to matching.
| Family Bundle | Price | Per Person |
|---|---|---|
| Shrimp Linguini Alfredo Family Pack | $47.99 | $12.00 |
| Family Shrimp Trio Platter | $48.99 | $12.25 |
| Family Garlic Shrimp Scampi Bundle | $49.99 | $12.50 |
| Captain’s Feast Family Platter | $56.99 | $14.25 |
| Coastal Lobster Bake Family Bundle | $72.99 | $18.25 |
| Family Seafood Boil Bundle | $89.99 | $22.50 |
Where the Value Is Worst
Two categories deserve a warning. Sides and soups are priced close to entree territory — $11.99 for a bowl of clam chowder, $9.99 for a cup of lobster bisque — without being a meal. And the 8-ounce containers of cocktail and tartar sauce at $2.99 each are a genuine upsell; ask whether your entree already includes sauce before adding them.
Seafood Boils, Feasts and Platters Explained
Three categories on this menu look similar from the outside and are frequently confused. The difference matters, because it is the difference between a $34.99 order and an $89.99 one.
Seafood Boils
Boils are shellfish, corn and potatoes cooked together in seasoned broth and served in the bag or bowl. The Cajun Garlic Butter Boil Bag starts the range at $34.99, the Sailor’s Seafood Boil is $39.99, the Mariner’s Seafood Boil is $54.99, and the Family Seafood Boil Bundle feeds four at $89.99. They are the messiest and most communal thing on the menu, and also among the highest in calories — the Sailor’s Boil alone is 2,600.
Signature Feasts
Feasts are single-person combination plates. The Ultimate Feast at $54.99 and the Lobster Lover’s Duo at $54.99 sit at the top; the Admiral’s Feast at $32.99 is the budget option. Create Your Own Ultimate Feast at $59.99 lets you choose the components. The calorie spread here is striking — the Lobster Lover’s Duo is 600 calories, while the Admiral’s Feast, at $22 less, is 1,670, because one is steamed and the other is fried.
Hot Platters and Family Meals
Platters are built for sharing. The Admiral’s Family Platter at $76.99 is the largest single order on the menu at 5,590 calories across four servings. Walt’s Favorite Shrimp Platter ($39.99) and the Crunchy Popcorn Shrimp Platter ($40.99) are the shrimp-focused equivalents, and the Fish Fry Family Platter at $32.99 is the cheapest way to feed a group hot fried seafood.

Red Lobster Lunch Menu
Lunch runs from opening at 11 AM until mid-afternoon at most locations. Lunch dishes run from $9.49 to $21.99, and several entrees cost the same at lunch and dinner, so the real saving is the smaller plate. Between 3 and 6 PM on weekdays the Early Dine-In menu adds five entrees under $15: Fish & Chips, Crunch-Fried Flounder, a lighter Shrimp Linguini Alfredo, a lighter Chicken Linguini Alfredo and a Cheeseburger. Full prices are in our Red Lobster lunch menu with prices.
Red Lobster Senior Menu and Kids Menu
Senior menu: Red Lobster does not publish a senior menu, and there is no confirmed nationwide senior discount. The “10% off for over-55s” figure repeated on many sites has no official source we could find. The lunch menu is the real substitute for smaller, cheaper plates, and a military discount is the one guests most often report being offered. Details are in our Red Lobster senior menu with prices guide.
Kids menu: four entrees at $8.99 to $9.79, each with a side and a drink: Grilled Shrimp Skewer, Popcorn Shrimp, Golden-Fried Fish and Chicken Tenders. The skewer is the lightest item on the entire menu at 250 calories. See the Red Lobster kids menu for the full breakdown.
Red Lobster Menu Calories: What You Should Know
Seafood has a reputation for being light, and some of it here genuinely is. But Red Lobster’s kitchen runs on butter, breading and cream sauces, and the calorie spread across the menu is enormous — from a 240-calorie cup of clam chowder to a 5,590-calorie family platter. Knowing which side of that line a dish sits on is the difference between a light dinner and two days’ worth of calories.
Lowest-Calorie Entrees
| Item | Calories | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 6 Oz. Filet Mignon | 390 | $33.99 |
| Seasoned Sirloin Steak (7 oz) | 430 | $21.99 |
| Whole Steamed Maine Lobster (1.25 lb) | 440 | $34.99 |
| Lobster Lover’s Duo | 600 | $54.99 |
| Snow Crab Leg Cluster | 610 | $32.99 |
| Parmesan-Crusted Chicken | 610 | $23.99 |
| Garlic Butter Shrimp Scampi | 650 | $19.49 |
| Grilled Atlantic Salmon | 660 | $25.49 |
There is a pattern worth noticing: the lowest-calorie plates are the ones where the protein arrives essentially unadorned. Steamed lobster, snow crab clusters, grilled salmon and plain steak all land under 700 calories. The moment a dish involves breading, linguini or Alfredo sauce, it roughly doubles.

How Many Calories Are in a Cheddar Bay Biscuit?
A single Cheddar Bay Biscuit contains roughly 160 calories, 10 grams of fat, 16 grams of carbohydrates, 380 milligrams of sodium and 3 grams of protein. That is modest on its own, but the biscuits arrive warm, free, and in a basket that gets refilled. Three biscuits before your entree arrives is close to 500 calories — more than the entire steamed lobster you may have ordered as the light option.
Our full nutrition and allergen guide breaks down calories by category and covers gluten-free and lower-carb ordering in more detail.

Gluten-Free, Allergens and Vegetarian Options
Shellfish is the defining ingredient here, and fryers and prep surfaces are shared, so cross-contact is a real consideration. Anyone with a diagnosed allergy should speak to a manager rather than rely on menu descriptions or any guide, including this one.
Gluten-Free Ordering
Red Lobster does not run a gluten-free kitchen. The safest choices are plain grilled or steamed proteins: whole steamed Maine lobster, a snow crab leg cluster, grilled Atlantic salmon, sirloin or filet mignon. Skip the Cheddar Bay Biscuits, anything breaded or on linguini, and the fries, which usually share oil with breaded seafood.
Main Allergens on the Menu
| Allergen | Where You Will Find It |
|---|---|
| Shellfish | Shrimp, lobster, crab, langostino and every boil, feast and platter built on them |
| Fish | Salmon, flounder, cod, and Caesar dressing, which traditionally contains anchovy |
| Wheat / gluten | Biscuits, breaded and fried items, linguini, sandwich buns, desserts |
| Milk | Butter, drawn butter, Alfredo sauces, cheese, chowder, bisque, desserts |
| Egg | Tartar sauce and other mayonnaise-based sauces, batters, desserts |
| Soy and sesame | Sesame-Soy Salmon Bowl, some marinades and dressings |
Vegetarian Options
A seafood restaurant is not an easy place to eat vegetarian, and it is better to say so plainly. The realistic options are Crispy Mozzarella Bites, the Cheddar Bay Biscuits, vegetable and potato sides, and the three desserts. The Caesar salad is not reliably vegetarian because Caesar dressing traditionally contains anchovy, so ask before ordering it. There is no vegan entree on the national menu.
Our nutrition and allergen guide covers calories by category, low-carb ordering and the hidden calories in sauces and biscuits.
Red Lobster Drinks and Happy Hour
Most locations have a full bar. The signature drink is the Lobsterita, an oversized margarita in a fishbowl-style glass. The tropical cocktails, including the Bahama Mama and the Sunset Passion Colada, are the crowd favorites, and there are margarita and sangria flights for sharing. Cocktails usually run $7 to $12. On the non-alcoholic side, fountain soft drinks are $3.49 with free refills and the fresh-made smoothies and lemonade are $4.49.
Happy Hour: $5 Drinks, 3 to 6 PM Weekdays
| $5 Happy Hour Drinks | $2 Off Appetizers |
|---|---|
| Classic Margarita | Lobster Flatbread |
| Top-Shelf Long Island Iced Tea | Crab Queso |
| Tito’s Twisted Strawberry Lemonade | Lobster Dip |
| Blue Moon or Bud Light draft (14 oz) | Seafood-Stuffed Mushrooms |
| Mark West Pinot Noir or Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio (6 oz) | Mozzarella Cheesesticks |
Happy hour is dine-in only, usually at the bar, and is not offered where state or local alcohol rules prohibit it, including Hawaii, the New York Times Square restaurant, some Georgia cities and locations in Canada. See the happy hour guide and the full Red Lobster drinks menu.

To Go, Delivery and Catering
Most locations offer To Go ordering through Red Lobster’s website and app, with curbside pickup. Delivery is available through Red Lobster’s own ordering and third-party apps including DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub, depending on the area. Delivery-app menu prices are often higher than in the restaurant, before delivery and service fees, so ordering direct for pickup usually costs less.
Fried platters, pasta and sandwiches travel well. Seafood boils travel better than you might expect because the bag is sealed, but shake it at home rather than in the car. Endless Shrimp is dine-in only and cannot be ordered To Go.
Catering: Red Lobster offers catering and party platters at participating locations, ordered in advance online or by phone. Family bundles are the easy option for a smaller group, feeding four for $47.99 to $89.99.
Rewards, Coupons and Gift Cards
- Red Lobster Nation rewards: free to join, 20% off your first order, then 1 point per $1 and $10 back for every 100 points. Alcohol, gift cards, tax and tips do not earn points. See our coupons and rewards guide.
- Coupon codes: most “Red Lobster coupon codes” on third-party sites are not genuine. Real offers come through the rewards program, the official app and email list, and in-restaurant signage.
- Gift cards: they do not expire, and discounted bundles such as four $25 eGift cards for around $79.99 at Costco work out to roughly 20% off the whole bill. Check a Red Lobster gift card balance only on Red Lobster’s own site.
- Family bundles: about $12 per person for four, the biggest saving on the menu that needs no app or code.
Why Prices Differ Between Locations
The same dish can differ by several dollars between two restaurants an hour apart. Four factors drive most of that variation:
- Regional cost base. Rent and wages in coastal metropolitan markets push menu prices above the national midpoint.
- Seafood market rates. Lobster and snow crab are commodity products with volatile wholesale pricing, which is why those categories move the most.
- Franchise versus corporate operation. Independently operated locations set some of their own pricing.
- Promotional calendars. A location running Crabfest prices crab dishes differently from one that has finished the promotion.
This is the reason we publish price ranges and note that figures vary rather than presenting a single national price as fact. Anyone who tells you there is one exact nationwide price for a Red Lobster entree is guessing.
About Red Lobster
Red Lobster was founded in 1968 by Bill Darden and Charley Woodsby, who opened the first restaurant in Lakeland, Florida. It grew into the country’s biggest seafood chain under General Mills and then Darden Restaurants, which sold it to private equity firm Golden Gate Capital in 2014 for $2.1 billion. The seafood supplier Thai Union later became a major shareholder.
In May 2024 the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, and it emerged in September 2024 under new owners led by Fortress Investment Group. Damola Adamolekun, formerly chief executive of P.F. Chang’s, took over as CEO. The chain has since closed more than 160 restaurants and operates around 540 locations in 2026, down from more than 700 before the bankruptcy. It is headquartered in Orlando, Florida.
Its best-known traditions are Cheddar Bay Biscuits, Endless Shrimp and Lobsterfest, which has run every year since 1984. Endless Shrimp, made a permanent $20 menu item in 2023, cost the company about $11 million in a single quarter and was a factor in the bankruptcy; it returned in 2026 as a higher-priced, limited-time promotion.
How We Build This Guide
- Prices and calories are kept in our own menu database and shown live on this page, so a change to one dish updates every table it appears in.
- Promotions and facts such as Endless Shrimp pricing, Crabfest dates and happy hour terms are checked against Red Lobster’s own announcements and major news coverage before they go on the site.
- When we cannot verify something, we say so or leave it out. We do not publish the widely repeated “10% senior discount” because we found no official source for it.
- We are independent. Red Lobster does not pay for, review or approve anything here, and we do not take orders or reservations.
- Found a price that is wrong? Tell us which dish and location, and we will check it.
